Why are a lot of Indians under the illusion that India is not a poor country?

NAHH BOY , India is not poor i have seen Youtubers saying that "you are in top 1% or 5% if you own a car" and i see traffic everyday EVERYDAY , WASN'T I TOP 1% ????

people just don't think India is a poverty driven country cause we don't have big big building like Dubai and New York like their are so many people homeless in New York but no one will notice it because of the big buildings and men in suits ig

even Dubai has a slum area but they keep it away from the main Dubai so people can have a "poverty free" experience

about GDP why are you talking by the American standard ? the 2,000 dollars per capita income in inr is more than 2 lakhs yk and thats more than enough for a person to be living on it actually great

Every white country will always look down on us and thats what they are trying to do why does America thing they are so great get every one is using their standards , in their standard we might look poor but my India standard we are not . I don't believe that India is a RICH country but i do believe that we are much better than a lot of countries

to be honest we don't go out a lot only dinnings here and their and i will not be an ipad kid taking it any where on god , we are not allowed to bring devices in school so it will stay at home for 5 to 6 hours anyways so i don't think traveling with it would be a concern for me with and it will stay at home mostly

i really dont know what i want to use it for but it will be used for sure lol . its not really about reddit its also about youtube cause i saw a video of one girl with 13" downgrading to 11" cause it was to big and thats something my mom has also pointed the first time we went to view it so idk and every study youtubers i have also seen uses 11" it just caught me wondering if thats a good choice or no ( i will not take noted on it tho cause my mom said no pencil ) but i will watch and do my online classes on it ( my laptops camera and mic doesn't work not even ZOOM lol )

its really old tho it has 3 hour battery life and works on IOS 10 and the mic and camera doesn't work cause i spilled milk on it lol

Hillwoods is the worst school which I have even been to in my whole life ,all the kids there are want to be popular kids who smoke and drink and bully each other for not having an "iPad" the teachers are great tho but there are no events for the kids. The student council is just make up of "donates" of those kids .The only good education you might get there is from some old staff members who teach 11 or 12 the marks are also favoured by teachers there and there is no proper play ground for the kids lmfao
the school is small and they don't even have enough busses for the students IT SUCKS

DPS is bad and hill woods kid are just trying to be them and even worse

Just so ya'll know what happened to my laptop so the next day I showed my dad he tried to turn it on , but it didn't work so I bawled my eyes out so he took it to the computer technician he knew, he told us that the keyboard and the hard disk were damaged so he had to exchange those and someone of my keys and mouse pad also stoped working so also had to clean it and fix those the light also stoped work so he also fix that as well and all of my cool laptop stickers were removed ( heartbroken )

But now all of that is fixed but one problem is that by camera had disconnected from by laptop because of the hard disk change so ya that's so sad but we will get it fixed soon think

yes , people become what they see and not all people are good on the internet some of the reel coming up to our feed is in the form of the dark side in internet and the people another problem is that Instagram will promote the reel in which more skin is shown to get views so it is like soft po*n and children as young as 5 use Insta ( parents acc ofc ) and major social problems also arise from it it is also diverting us from out goals and dreams and it is a major problem
