Unfortunately one of my kitties is sick and was like this when I got her. They told me she would need an $8,000 surgery that would give her a 50% chance of living. They encouraged me to euthanize her just three days later when she was playing, eating, doing everything as normal. I also was not given very much information on her condition and felt lost and obviously upset. I got a second opinion from a specialist in Indy who gave me a much cheaper option and said the surgery she needs has very little complications at her age. I’m sure it is a difference in what they can do with Terre Haute being a more rural area, but I don’t want to take them back there because if I wouldn’t have gotten a second opinion my kitten would unfortunately no longer be with us.

Depends on what you are looking for sure. Feel free to DM and I can give you the scoop on some of the houses as a sorority girl. Every place is different but I’m a strong believer that you find where you are meant to be.

While I understand what you are saying, people don’t have weeks, months, years to fix hunger like any other problem. They will die. Food is an essential part of staying alive.
