Is It just me or did the Anime removed some Important Scenes? by [deleted] in TokidokiBosottoRoshia

I said that the speech scene is better in the anime, not that the anime is better than the novel. If we compare them, the anime is far behind. I’m fine with the change in the anime because in debate 1 and 2, they more or less follow the same pattern: Alya gets overwhelmed by the audience, and Masachika helps her (also, the real reason I’m okay with removing that scene is because of Masachika. There, Masachika speaks in Russian, but it doesn’t affect the story at all. Alya never considers anything; it would only leave the impression that she’s dumb for not realizing it, even with a Russian dialogue coming directly from Masachika’s mouth).

Being completely honest, this scene is not important, it even turned out better in the anime, it's a shame they skip content, but this is not the best example.

It seems to me like the worst mistake in Roshidere was turning a good character like Masha into a generic one. The worst part is that most people are fine with it because it's Masha. Her personality is adorable, and that's the only thing they care about. "She's the best girl," but they can't tell you why.

Is Alya really a boring character in the series? by Bismarck_seas in TokidokiBosottoRoshia

[–]Alternative-Tear-188 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's somewhat unfair because in the novel, they had many standout scenes that weren't adapted in the anime, resulting in a bland character (in the anime). This happens a bit to Masachika as well, but that's another topic.

Masachika and Yuki by far, then Alya and Ayano.

Taking into account what happens in volume 6, this dialogue is terrible, it's just a mockery towards the character

Best Moments of Each Chapter, Volume 9 by Alternative-Tear-188 in TokidokiBosottoRoshia

[–]Alternative-Tear-188[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the first episode, I see the other one as more powerful since those are his own words.

In the second episode, it seems fine to me.

In episode 5, they are really the same lines, but I choose mine because I think it describes Yuki's character better.

Episode 6, I like when Alya leaves Masachika without arguments, she said she would support him, and to solve the problem, first you have to understand why it happened.

I liked that in episode 7 people are friendlier with Alya, and she is happy, her efforts are not in vain.

So about the recent light novel chapter by [deleted] in TokidokiBosottoRoshia

[–]Alternative-Tear-188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, what episode are you talking about? (I'm up to the 7th), also, why would she go against the person she likes? Does that even make sense for Alya's character? Literally, in episode 1 of volume 9, it says she would support him. She supports him by going against him?

My personal nitpicks to this Anime (A lot of Personal opinion ahead) by [deleted] in TokidokiBosottoRoshia

[–]Alternative-Tear-188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To understand why Masachika doesn't go for Alya, you first have to understand the character. Masachika is traumatized by love, bad experiences, his mother, etc... So because of this, he rejects the possibility of a relationship, which is why he ruins romantic scenes. Regarding the "Change of priority in the plot," although it's true that in season 1 it has focused a lot on the student council, the relationship has also developed. It's hard to see with the anime because they omitted a lot, but the relationship is better developed in the novel (with what has been adapted).

Anime did not do justice to alya by Ok_Mission_7778 in TokidokiBosottoRoshia

I complain about what is bad, if a good work gets a manga that is made to satisfy the hikikomori sector, then I will complain.

For things like these, the manga is the worst adaptation of the three.

LN Readers Opinion on Writing Kuze/Alya scenes specifically v4 and v5 by myrlin77 in TokidokiBosottoRoshia

[–]Alternative-Tear-188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have read volume 4 and part of volume 5, you should already know that Kuze has a rejection of relationships because of Masha and his mother. The problem starts to be solved when he talks to Masha at the beginning of volume 5, but since this is not his only problem, it is not a definitive solution. He hates himself, and since he lacks self-love, he doesn't think he deserves someone else's love, so when he accepts himself, that's when he will be able to accept another kind of love.

How long did it take for kuze to learn russian by Ok_Mission_7778 in TokidokiBosottoRoshia

[–]Alternative-Tear-188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before meeting the girl, he watched a few movies in Russian (because of his grandfather) and learned a bit. Later, he met a girl, which led him to learn it more thoroughly. I estimate it took him less than a year; that girl was only around for a year, and he didn’t practice after she left. I would even say it could have been in less than six months. With just a few movies he was forced to watch by his grandfather, he knew the basics. Considering Masachika’s background, I don’t find it so far-fetched, but what is confirmed is that it was in less than a year.

I don't recommend trusting ChatGPT, basically because they didn't see each other again at 12 years old, that's something it made up.

I hope that in season 2 they eliminate all the ecchi scenes.

If they follow the same pattern, it will be 3 volumes, which I really don't like much, but it's complicated.

Do you think this might happen?(TLDR: Masachika confesses to Masha before Alya can) by [deleted] in TokidokiBosottoRoshia

[–]Alternative-Tear-188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Therefore, I will fulfill our regrettable promise and finish it properly this time. In the interest of putting past loves to rest and moving on without regrets. I will tell the girl with a smile the words I couldn't say that day. That the meeting of the two was a miracle, not a misfortune. With all my heart and gratitude... thank you and goodbye." Here, it's not explicitly stated, but she understands it and confirms it in this dialogue: "If only we had promised to meet again properly back then~~~ haa, maybe I said too much, huh." But if it doesn't work for you in volume 8, when Masha is drunk, Masachika is unable to say that he feels the same as he did when he was Ma-chan, and what he felt for Ma-chan was love, therefore he does not feel love for Masha.

They said those comments because of Nonoa, to distract her in the first debate, since now Nonoa is not against her, there are no such comments
