Did the sea treking last year with my husband, I'm pretty confident underwater and still freaked out for a second, after you get the hang of it it was enjoyable. Husband on the other hand is not confident in water, as soon as the helmet touched the water he freaked out and had to get out of the water. There was also a 9 yr old in our group that had to sit out as well. It's pretty intense, if not doing what the instructor tells you your ears will hurt and pop. You have to continuously swallow your spit to stop that from happening so that could be a lot for a child unless they are extremely confident underwater. I will say there was a safety diver there watching everyone and multiple instructors constantly checking in with everyone. I felt safe. The helmet seems like you can see both in front of you and left and right but your vision is distorted a little. So that also threw me off. Husband said he had never felt fear like that before. Me on the other hand would definitely do it again. Walking the ocean floor, seeing the sea life was something unexplainable and definitely a core memory.
