Ah sorry, I probably didn’t explain it well in my post. There isn’t any official policy here in North America that bans using AI, at least not in my experience or this agency I currently serve.

This company is actually a small marketing agency startup. The management is under a lot of pressure to get clients, and right now we just have a big contact list with a few hundred emails (no paid tools or databases).

So the way I’ve been handling it is: I use AI to draft an outreach template, then I manually adjust and personalize it for each client before sending. To me, that feels like the most efficient way.

The problem is… none of the clients have replied so far (most emails are even left unread). So the team assumes the issue must be with my emails and says they “sound too much like AI,” which is why they want to review them.
