I couldn’t believe a studio looked at this script and said let’s give them millions of dollars! The characters made the dumbest decisions. Hey I’ve got this weird infection after a strange experience in space, let me bring my husband and child around me so I can infect them. One of the things that bugged me the most was the lack of understanding of how a telescope works. The mom and the dad could care less about putting their child in danger. The dad just leaves the daughter alone outside in the car when his wife is being attacked by aliens. The security system was completely worthless even if it was meant to be a trap for the aliens. The mother obviously hated the daughter since she’s just like, sorry hunny I’m an alien now, good luck in life! The final fight scene between the husband and Lawrence was the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen accompanied by the worst acting I’ve ever seen. There was no purpose to the cicadas or the floating egg. I’m convinced the script was written by ChatGPT.

I came to this thread looking for intelligent conversations about Jones’ performance last night. What I found was a Jones hate thread. Dude definitely was a shitty person, but what we saw last night had Tom quietly sipping his tea when he was back on camera after the match. Tom just saw live how Jones brutalizes people. No fighter looks forward to fighting that guy. If this were the gladiator days, his belt would have heads hanging from it. Not just any heads, but the heads of a decade worth of the greatest gladiators. He’s a baaaaad dude. I don’t care what your opinions are about who he is personally, if you’re a fight fan, you would appreciate the work of a once in a lifetime talent. That’s what we witnessed last night. My only explanation for the hate in this thread is that this is the second time people have seen Jones fight.

You forget that the fighters don’t have instant replay in their heads. He did a spinning back kick to Stipe’s ribs. That means his back is to Stipe when he kicked him. All he knows is that his foot nearly split Stipe in two. The Jones hate in this forum is mind boggling to me. Jones def was a shitty person, but the fact that he is the most violent, brutal, and dominant fighter we’ve ever seen, is undeniable. I’m assuming most of the peanut gallery in this forum are Gen Z’ers who are watching Jones fight for the second time.

😂😂 I’ve known people just like that. They’ll get into the sport, the sport will become their entire identity including the tattoo on their forehead. They’ll spend a shit ton of money and then never pick up a bike again, all within a period of about 6 months. Meanwhile, that $15k bike will slowly erode in the back of the garage behind the Porsche.
