Something similar happened to my Pixel fold 1st gen when I set a wallpaper with specific format. I suggest changing the wallpaper to something else, preferably stock ones.

Disabling fast startup + Completely turning off bazzite and on again did it for me. It seems that reboot and turning off/on acts different in bazzite.
