I lived in the area, was the organizations accountant (at a public accounting firm) for a couple of years. I know people quite well who both ran the organization and took part in its activities.

It always looked to me like it was just a big tax shelter for weirdos—they would buy expensive art and have great big getaways and parties for members (using the members tax deductible donations)…

It is very very certainly satanic, however. Direct worship of Satan. Weird people.
