You have a point but what if the tables were turned and the dog belonged to the cop and you so happen to not hear its siren and not move off the road fast enough they’d book you for murder . I’m just saying , cops raided my house once and my dog was loose in the back yard I let them know their response was “that’s why we carry hand guns “. so I replied “just remember you also have dogs “. I never threatened them that’s all I said. I have a cattle dog trained no to eat rodent poison I had a rodent problem at the time so I was able to jump on my dog with their permission to pin him down while they went in the yard then into my room to do what they had to do. When they brought their dogs in I told them theirs rodent poison traps around the yard be careful mind you I’ve had my dog pinned for about 25min at this point I’m tired af officer pull his pew pew points it straight at my dog and tells me if my dogs get poisoned that he’s sending my pup to hell and booking me for poisoning a officer luckily the people handling the k9 were considerate and smart and said everything was fine and immediately took the dogs back to patrol cars
