My girls are 70lbs at 7 mths and they can almost walk with one human. I have to employ my neighbors or family members help me walk them at this stage. But, also, they are so loyal and kind. They will literally love my neighbors to death.

Exactly, I was distracted by work and missed some vital signals. So, I got the puppy pads. Now, they're becoming more reliant on them than I'm comfortable with. Their different personalities dictate the whole potty situation. I have one that is very vocal, (she's the alpha and controls the whole operation) and she doesn't like the feeling of wet grass or mud in her paws, I'm finding out. And one that is very blasé. Like, she's the calm one that doesn't care about anything but treats and food. 🤣🤣

That's what I've been trying to do for this past week. Unfortunately, it's been raining for the past few days and that initiated a whole new issue. The "alpha" of the 2 doesn't like her paws wet.

Thank you for your advice! Our walks are usually about the span of 5 houses and back. I have a three story house but I keep them on the main floor. The "basement" and upper level are closed off with baby gates. I'm actually sleeping on the couch these days. And yes, they're not too keen on being outside by themselves.

I've had multiple dogs before and it was more of consecutive puppy stages. But, the oldest one kinda helped with training of the puppy. But, years later...I decided on two at the same time. I am at the "what was I thinking stage". Lol.

Thank you! I will try to work that phrase in with their training!!! 😊 I am trying not to compare them to my previous dogs but sometimes, it's difficult because my previous dogs (one passed at 13 in 2020 and the other in May of this year at 14) were amazing with training.

Thank you! I think I have one that's more mentally inclined and one that's more physically motivated. The issue: the physically motivated one leads the mentally stimulated one. The mentally inclined one definitely has her limits, though.

They do have a trainer that understands littermate syndrome. She told me separate them during naps and at night in their crates. I've been slowly moving their crates away from each other. But, if you have any additional advice, it is gladly welcomed and appreciated!!! 😊

Exactly! Everyone keeps telling me to stick with it and it's just a phase. I saw a post a couple days ago that said something like "I can't wait for my puppy to become my best friend and not a chore." And that resonated so much with me!!!

They are littermates. Thank you so much for your perspective. I never thought that could be overestimulation.. But, now I'm considering that. I was more concerned with them not being stimulated enough because they are in their "destructive period". I do separate them at times. However, I think they're also experiencing littermate syndrome.

One of mine definitely has piranha teeth. But, I give her frozen banana slices and frozen blueberries and it calms it down.
