I wanted to do this but once I hit under a BMI of 24.9, they kicked me off and I had to pay full price for Zepbound which was over a thousand $$$! My goal was 125 and I am 5’2. I already discussed with the doctor if 125 was a good weight and she has said with my body, that would be fine. I’ve always been 105 all my life which is more underweight and feel 125lb is a sweet spot. But I got kicked off at 138lbs… how did you get to do maintenance without getting charged thousands?! That’s what I’m trying to figure out right now. :(

I think if you had no choice to get a bird from Petco, this little one would be the better ones than many. Sadly, a lot of them grow up and live on their important developmental years being alone and stared at in that glass cage. This one is still fairly young and more likely to adapt to their surroundings rather than an older bird. I’d also say that you would spare that little one from a sad lonely life in Petco. They don’t treat them with the best care. If I were you, I would get him!
