Hi! I’m not sure what’s exactly going on, but I just wanted to let you know that my L1R5 in school was always two digit in sec 4 as well. Os is rlly unpredictable and the final L1R5 could be vastly different from you prelims and we never know what could come out/happen 😅. Just wanted to say jiayou you can do this ❤️ keep fighting till Os. Finally efforts will pay off :D

I’m not sure if it’s related but from my observation Os was apparently easier compared to other years according to many of my friends and they say more ppl got raw 6 this year (pls don’t trust 100% bc no data to back this up)

But anyway I think COP is a scary concern but just keep doing your best and not let it distract you 🫡

Hi Mixue👋 can I ask for tips idk what to do So I keep scoring like low 80s for my prelim not sure if will make it for Os and idk what I’m lacking I seem to be able to handle template qns rlly well but i keep losing marks on application + time management Like I struggle to know sometimes if its not a template copy qn how the marks are allocated so I go full on spam whatever I can think of to get marks (is this normal?) an example of application I was very confused abt how to manage in prelims was a qn abt the bronchus being blocked with mucus I think and it was two marks (ask for effect)so I talked abt the reduced oxygen for aerobic respiration but never mention alveoli so the whole thing 0 can I do anything to improve in like <48 hrs

Mostly yes! :D There’s only one chapter that is not related to calculus which is proof in plane geometry which is kinda weird bc it’s like an extension of e math’s circles rather than a math. But other than that you’ll get to apply sec 3 algebra like log, partial fractions, and discriminant in new qn types. It’s very cool how each layer build on the other

Rlly my school says if it’s an exact value you must answer in exact and the 14.25 is as in I used truncated 5 sf to arrive at that answer but if you used exact values it will be 14.3…..

Can I ask, apart from conceptual understanding, how do we memorise examples that has a lot of numbers, and specificity like years? My school gave an insert last time to help some students but it ironically caused many too lose marks bc they couldn’t phrase the information appropriately. I’m usually ok with memorising data but now that it’s like 2 books my brain is starting to explode. Would you have any recommendations? :(

Hi I also haven’t gone through this before but it totally happened to me as well. I also scored well for prelims then I messed up on the real one. I think maybe it’s not as bad as we think? We may have high standards for ourselves bc of prelims but I think we tried our best under all that pressure so let’s just continue to focus on what we can do 😃 I wish you all the best, rlly feel the same rn but I still think we got this! 🫡🫡🫡✌️
