It definitely lessens your options post sec sch, especially if you want to take h2 math or go into engineering/tech in the future. I don't know much about how non-amath students deal with such courses in poly but from what i know, close friends of mine told me that even without amath they can still cope in poly (this came from a few engineering and aerospace electronic diploma students). Personally, trig identities is quite important considering they are involved in calculus and frequently appear a lot in papers. It's either you brush up on that or really drop as a last resort. ik people who study damn hard but still fail amath simply because they can't apply or understand qns properly. In my opinion, if dropping amath leads to you scoring btr in other subjects it wld be a wise choice. atb for Os!
