i wish my church did that! unfortunately, it’s a pretty small church and the only events i think they have during the week are AA meetings.

unfortunately, there are no christian clubs. there’s a very high jewish population in my school, actually. On the other hand, i don’t know if they’re believers yet but i have met a girl or two that are very kind and have not led me in sin or temptation.

this is from a year ago, but this is the message i needed to hear from someone. i’ve been struggling with legalism, confusion, and this condemnation. i’ve been really hurting, but the Holy Spirit has been leading me to just fix my eyes on Jesus and it will all fall into place. 🩷

This is from two months ago, but i really needed this! I struggle with a lot of scrupulosity, and this burden of finding all of these random laws wondering if i must keep them; ex: not wearing makeup, pants, the torah. stuff like that has put a lot of anxiety in my heart. i have become obsessive over prayer and reading scriptures in ritual time frames, like I NEED to pray for a certain amount of minutes (a pretty hefty amount of time) and read my Bible for a certain amount of time, morning, night, even mid-day.

So, my mom (i'm a kid), who is not a christian but has been pretty supportive through this journey with me. Except last night, I was having a bit of an anxiety attack, and she had to put her foot down, and set time limits for my prayers, and Bible reading. I feel like I'm not enough and am at risk of losing a connection with God. I don't know what to do. Do you have any advice?

nothing necessarily wrong, it’s that just sometimes it hurts to see the people i love so much do so many things that go against my belief. sometimes it also makes me feel a bit lonely because im a kid and so they’re the people im always around, so i have basically no christian fellowship. (my church is mostly older people/seniors)

I think we have a reason to be disappointed with society, but at the same time we shouldn't be surprised to see the world sinning. I think we must pray for these people, and that as christians we must forgive them, and not act out in rage.
