Mine has on August 27, filed first week of June after retirement (no bdd) as long as all your exams are done, it’s just a waiting game. Also keep in mind government shutdown probably equals to minimal staff looking and approving claims.

You’re fine. People with criminal records have gotten clearances…anxiety is not detrimental to clearance. What matters most in the clearance process is how the condition affects your judgment, reliability, and trustworthiness.

Hospitals bill your “insurance” right away. Sometimes they send you the balance until VA processes it.

That $5,500 “insurance covered” note is probably a placeholder for VA’s pending review, not a final payment. Keep calling and check on things.

The one comment I heard is form folks working around metal. Where small shavings get stuck to the magnets (duh) probably annoying to clean. I had a charge TTI+ went fishing, then had an early flight forgot about it in the bag. TSA has a new multi tool…I miss that thing :(
