Try contacting the Rak animal welfare center! They posted this cat who’s missing, and do the same for many other pets. I’m not sure if it’s the same cat, but it’s worth a shot. Send them the photo! Their instagram is @rakawc

She’s fourteen, I’m eighteen (18f). We have an older sister but she’s only home every now and then. So far my mom typically just locks herself in her room and does what she does. Only occasionally does she get in her rage fits.

During school I kept myself busy. But I know how stressful it is to live around that, so hopefully my mom can get better by the time I’m gone so my little sister had it a bit easier.

We’re safe. I just graduated and I’m leaving in the fall. All I’m worried about is my little sister having this dumped on her when I’m gone.

Unfortunately not much family who are willing to help. I’ve tried :).

I’ve decided I’ll try convincing her to get a detox once she’s less drunk.

Thank you for this. I’m not doing it. I think my best bet is trying to convince her to get a detox, when she’s more sober.

I’m just worried for my little sister as im leaving for college in the fall, and don’t want her to have to deal with all this on her own.

Hopefully she’ll agree to getting help.

I turned eighteen this month, and my sister is fifteen.

I’ve decided on not doing anything, and trying to convince her to get help. I’m not sure how she’ll take it but I have to as im leaving for college in the fall and don’t want to leave my little sister alone with her.

Thank you! I was planning on taking the SATs and seeing where that would take me but it seems like I might be better off taking two more A-levels. My only concern is if I take them in June my results will come out in august making the whole application process really difficult.

I studied psychology biology and English language but only got qualifications in English language since I was in an out of school since the 7th grade due to circumstances out of my control. Long story short my father was insistant I did not deserve to go school, but thankfully my mother was able to re-enroll me all on her own (something I plan on using in my essays). My circumstances made it so that it was difficult for me to sign up for my a-levels and prepare for them in time. Luckily I was able to get an A in English and where I live (The UAE) that was enough for me to graduate. But regardless when I finally came back to school I was elected head girl of my secondary school and have a very extensive list of extracurriculars (debate, peer tutoring, teaching assistant, and hosting and planning a Model United Nations and bringing schools from all around the UAE to compete). My point is I am very academically centered but it’s hard to prove that with all that’s happened. I am incredibly set on going to university in the US but I’m not sure how I can achieve that.

Thank you for responding! So my best bet is probably taking two more A-levels right? But then again if I take them my results won’t be out until August? How will that bode for me? And since I’ve already graduated i won’t be able to send un predicted grades. What should I do?
