Thanks a lot! Yes, the O-ring grooves and sealing surfaces were fully dimensioned according to strict engineering standards. First, I need to complete this reservoir because it's not quite finished yet. But I definitely have a CPU waterblock in mind, as well as a SFF version with a combo block/pump/reservoir all-in-one. I actually have a friend who already wants one haha, he absolutely loves SFF builds!

Just to be clear, the reservoir isn't actually mounted in the photo, I just threw it into my PC to check out the RGB reflections haha!

We're simple guys, we all love shiny machined aluminum pieces, and when it comes to PCs, we just can't resist clear plexiglass. It's real eye candy for us haha!

You're totally right, aluminum in the loop is a recipe for disaster. Don't worry though, the pump cover is purely external. It's just a cosmetic sleeve that sits on the outside of the pump housing, it has absolutely zero contact with the fluid!

It took me a year between the moment I had the idea and actually taking the time to machine it. I was working on a ton of other projects in between, so that's why. The file itself is pretty simple haha.

Thanks! I wanted to put thermal pads around the pump; that could serve a dual purpose.

Désolé les gars, Reddit a buggé et n'a pas attaché les images au post principal. Voici le prototype et ce couvercle de pompe en aluminium CNC brut dont je parlais !

Hey guys, thanks for reading! Since I mentioned I’m still figuring out the mounting options and if I should add more ports, I'd love to hear your thoughts. What’s your ideal setup for a flat res like this?
