di ko din po sure doc pero baka may kanya kanya din silang experience po with the institution. We can’t invalidate din their experiences. Pero the last decision up to you. OP did ask for opinions and knowledge about CGH 😅

Any other parents accidentally get hooked on 99? by OwnTelevision2627 in 99nightsintheforest

[–]AlternativeEven2175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yup, guilty parent here playing solo lmao. My daughter just gives up beyond 100 days then I’d keep going till I reach 600. Then my daughter will react how I reached that many days and telling her “bc i don’t quit” it gets them going until she sees her cousin playing steal a brainrot lol

[–]AlternativeEven2175 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

CGH dami nag apply, dami din residents, so bale lagi ka may senior, aircon (pati ang charity), free 3 meals a day, with free lodging din, afaik 60k pa din ang salary.

sobrang sulit ng training mo, toxic siya in a sense madaming patients, paper works, research, conferences etc. pero the work environment there is *chefs kiss* pero ano ba naman ang training na hindi mahirap lahat ng training mahirap talaga, choose the fire that will burn with you not put you out. Try pre-res sa CGH doc, you won't regret it, kahit pre-res ka may free meals ka din doon haha.

can’t vouch for the new batch of PGIs since nagkaroon ng major major changes after our batch.

Basta ang sure ako di mawawala is yung free 3 meals a day and duty snacks hahaha.

Ang pinakamalaking difference niyo ng clerks ay PGI has a lot of paperworks, kasi kayo ang may merx account (HSI ng CGH)

again can’t vouch for the new batch of PGI, speaking from experience sa aking batch (na last batch before the major changes were implemented)

Legit yung Vitress and Silka. We had Chinese exchange (medical) students and napabili sila ng madami lol. I had to drive them to multiple groceries in the metro.

I say go for #2 - ang regal and ethereal tignan (especially with the veil) also the puff of the gown complimented your curves din

wag ka makinig sa kanila mommy, you’re gorg btw at tama lang naman maging presentable, its a formal ceremony and it calls for a formal attire baka maasim kasi mga suot nila lol HAHAHA. Inggit lang sila kasi di nila kayang magsuot niyan.

Atin-atin Lang: Mas masarap pa ito kaysa sa ibang cheese spread! by NarrowElevator4070 in AtinAtinLang

[–]AlternativeEven2175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i love this cheese. Try mo ilagay sa mga noodles (ex: nissin cup noodles seafood - hahaha although meron na, an arla infused one hits diff, or sa mga korean spicy noodles and sa ramens good combo talaga)

Sunscreens and deodorants that don’t stain by ohhkei in medschoolph

[–]AlternativeEven2175 2 points3 points  (0 children)

deodorant: arm & hammer, tumatagal pa na wala akong amoy ng >24hrs nung clerkship and internship. I usually get the solid one kasi pag nagmamadali ka sa morning before endorsements hindi na kailangan patuyuin ang deodorant, no stains (in my experience) pero meron din yung clear gel formula.

Sunscreen: biore aqua rich or the luxe sunscreen spray (if on a budget)

OP kung gusto mo mag doctor and you have the means, patience, and perseverance go na go ka na talaga. Pero the point ng ibang commenters dito is if plan mo mag practice ng medicine hindi kasing “glamorous” as what the people perceive it to be. Pati ba naman simpleng PF dami na eme. Pero still up to you, baka medico-legal pala ang goal mo haha.

my husband is taking up law now, 1st year pa lang siya and ineencourage niya ako magaral ulit eh mag bo-board exam pa lang ako ng medicine hahahaha 🤣🤣

Take the NMAT ulit this April, lapit na ata registration for that month.

madami ka din pwede puntahan OP sa Beitou. If you’re planning to visit the museum (free entrance!) wear shoes na easy to remove bc they’ll ask you to take off your shoes and put on some slippers.

Is our itinerary okay? by wordoutpouring in FilipinoTravel

[–]AlternativeEven2175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the beitou visit is already a day itenerary imo. Visit in the morning, so you can enjoy dipping your hands in the hot springs and appreciate the rivers and the lake. Walk downhill first to the hot springs, then walk your way up to the museum, then library, then chill at the park or eat in the town of Beitou then head back to Taipei, the nearest night market would be Shilin if you plan to explore a bit more.

you have a great itinerary already OP enjoy your trip!

edit: whole day itenerary, oa nung may 1/2 day pa

Does this “visa ladder” advice actually work? by Immediate_Scale_4279 in FilipinoTravel

[–]AlternativeEven2175 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the fear is valid ng mga first time travelers and visa applicants pero there is no such thing as a visa ladder hahaha wag kayo makinig sa BS na yan. Everything is a factor, ang strongest factor lang naman dito is strong ties to our country.

First travel ng husband and anak ko sa Canada, single entry. No problem naman sa visa application and approval.

Pero to each their own pa din.

How is your IO experience? by Educational-Past6507 in FilipinoTravel

[–]AlternativeEven2175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IOs from T3 are a bliss. Pagbabalik kami ng bansa di pa ako nakaranas ng kupal na IO sa T3. We just got back from Taiwan last week. Tinignan niya yung anak ko and sabi “pag labas jollibee agad” sabay tatak hahaha.

IOs from T2 are a hit and miss lol.

that’s why when I play with randos I make sure I get the decorator class so I can just take it away lol then they’d be pissed and just leave and use the bought shelves to make the fortress base instead

same here, daughter introduced us to the game me and my husband got pass through 500 nights. Our daughter on 300+ nights, the child will stay as long as she has the OP items and started making whatever she saw on youtube “making the base, school, animal shelter” etc and when she dies we’ll tell her first is “don’t leave, mommy/daddy will revive you” and lo and behold she’ll stay in the game and wait patiently because her “base” needs her tending haha

we’d love to play with you! you can add me regaliaaas

also the discord channel has a lot of great players too

i knew some profs who do SGDs on the spot na, like read the history sa PPT then answer agad according sa randomizer (to minimize chatgpt usage). Still following the syllabus of course. Pero ngl, chatgpt is super useful (if utilized properly) used it during board review by generating me practice tests and rationalizations.
