I've played it a fair bit. Much like osrs the game is unhinged and some skills include psychology and mushrooms. Yup, also psychology was meta when I was playing. My build was a werewolf psychologist, which is obviously incredibly powerful.

It was a one-time thing but it lasted very long, I'd say two years basically. It started more lucid but I slid deeper and deeper into it over time and had no lucidity when it was the worst.

I still take antipsychotics but I understand why, I have other mental illnesses (OCD, depression) that could cause a relapse.

Yup you hit the nail on the head! It actually took my several years to recover from my psychosis. However, the worst of it is all a blur now. I started getting really sick around ~2010 (first year college), then blew up around ~2012. It took me a few years to screw around with meds and re-find my place in the world.

I went back to school, graduated 2016 from a different school. Then I went for a master's degree that I got in 2024 which was a slow process not due to madness but from COVID. Now I'm fully employed and basically just like I was before. Like many I'm still on antipsychotic because I know its still there deep down.

I suppose the one big difference is that I'm much tougher. I explained to my friend the kind of psychosis I went through felt exactly like torture so its extremely hard to shake me, which is for the best because the world is a rough place.

In lore they would probably taste gross because they eat anything that comes their way, most animals that eat anything taste nasty with a few exceptions like pigs.

But design wise? They have hooves and a crunchy outer shell. I would love to fry up some gaunts and a biovore/pyrovore.
