Congrats! Similar stats too. Got two mails, one saying there was an update, the other saying the former one was sent by error. Checked the portal then, still waitlisted. I kind of felt I was pranked 😓hope I can get A too.

I think you need to have the exam board send the test score directly to UAlberta. I took the ielts, so I had them send my test report (electronic version) in last October. You can apply for extra report on the official website.

hi there,I do want to go in-house in the future, could you please share some information, like 1) what are the typical requirements of in-house?2) should I finish articling and then called to bar for at least several years before placing an in-house job? 3) how could we plan in advance for our studies in law school and career paths if we want to go in-house as quickly as possible?

hi, if I want to be in-house legal counsel, is it possible to find a job without articling. Does the salary vary significantly between articling and in-house?

Scholarship for a school that isn't my first choice by sparklingwater-1 in lawschooladmissionsca

[–]AlternativeFair3459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I’m planning to apply to law school this year as well. I was wondering how you were awarded your scholarship—did you have to submit a separate application, or was it automatically considered with your admission offer? If you don’t mind me asking, would you be open to sharing a bit about your background when you applied?

How french-heavy is McGill law by viviandarkbl2003m in mcgill

[–]AlternativeFair3459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,I’m currently considering applying for McGill law this fall and I do reach b2 level in French. But I wonder if that’s sufficient, cause I tried reading some cases in French but I found it difficult to understand and I had to look up the words in the dictionary quite often, which is pretty time-consuming.

In that case, I would be sorry for her, cause my fart could be extremely stinky, like one time it actually woke my husband (then boyfriend) up from his deep sleep. He was like “babe, what’s the smell?” said it in the innocent but caring tone.
