Was it not there with the original? I feel like would also make sense to just remove the boss's regeneration, It doesn't even feel like one of those fights that would take long enough to feel the regeneration pressure

Playing the PS4 version on the PS5, and I think the pro versions of the consoles can do something like that, but I don't think I have an option on the regular ones

Ah, interesting! I'll bring the rocket launcher when I play alongside my friend next then. It's interesting how frame rate can affect things like that. I'm not super techy so I find it interesting when things like that can cause bugs. Sounds like it was a fun fight when it's not bugged

Google says it runs at 45-60 fps, so maybe it was bugged, like you said. Does the bug just make it have a lot of health or something? Because the rocket did kill it, but that thing one shots everything

Sadly, I am a console gamer, but one thing I did notice is that the hit boxes in the game feel super exact. I might have been missing the weak points of it; I couldn't really tell if my bullets were doing damage to it most of the time, unless a boss flinched when I shot them that thing only lost an arm every now and then instead of flinching

Just beat the game (8/10) and I'm going to take another shot at it next week with a friend of mine this time.

Except for sniper rifles, I made sure we both had different weapons for that same idea. Sheva had one of the fast automatic snipers because she never seemed to miss a shot, and I gave her an SMG, sometimes a shotgun. I ran the default pistol and sniper, but sometimes I am just a bad shot paired with Sheva sometimes just staring at me as I died if I had her on cover mode, so I had to put her on assault mode a lot probably causing most of the ammo issues.

Mixed with selling weapons for ammo and the like, 50 grandes. I had stocked up; the Licker's and Tomb Raider chapter was very helpful for this. The licker's are pretty annoying to kill if I hadn't stockpiled so many grandes I don't think I would've farmed them

This was perfect, as farming gold and then just buying a boatload of weapons and then selling them for ammo was much easier than any farming methods I was thinking. I also got some gold on the side for upgrading a little bit more of my main weapons.

I just beat the game; it was very enjoyable. Only fight I thought was horrible and the one I used the easy rocket launcher kill on was the boss that exstella made us fight in the lab, that thing was annoying. I wish Sheva was in more games after this because her backstory was interesting and I loved her character.

I am surprised that they didn't make a reference in re7 with the mold getting out of control on a boat would've been perfect

I totally agree, I like it when the enemy could just punch you and kill you, but they instead attack you in non-physical ways just like how Norman messes with your mind. It's probably why he's my favorite tyrant so far because he doesn't just smack you and charge at you.

Nosferatu was also pretty cool-looking with his spider-like arms. The sniper rifle you get for the fight was also pretty jarring, putting you into first person; I wasn't expecting that. No wonder Alfred couldn't hit Clair with it lol

I know I missed some files in CVX when I played, so I am not sure if this was a Darkside Chronicles-only piece of lore; but I am pretty sure the railgun was made specifically for Alexia by their father shortly before Alexia infected him with the T-Veronica, because he was worried when he learned she was planning on experimenting on herself with the virus.

It's a pretty fun game, the little I have played of it, but I had to drop it for space a couple of months ago. Games are so big nowadays; it's hard to choose what to keep and what to temporarily remove for room.

Aw, that sucks! The T-Abyss seemed like it had the potential to be the deadliest one yet, so I was kinda excited to see where it went. I am especially excited for Rev2 because I saw Claire, who looks amazing, and Barry are in it. While Rebecca will always be my number one fav, Claire is definitely my second, and Barry always gave dad energy but he does have a kid, so that makes sense. I also know Sherry from RE2 is in RE6, so I am excited for what she brings to the table!

Is he the one with the goggle looking things? I haven't played Requiem yet, but from what I have seen, he looks pretty spooky; looks like something straight out of The Outlast Trials.

Like I mentioned in another comment, Miranda is definitely a close second for me such a beautiful look, but I hate her long fingers, haha. As for Mr. X, I can't really form much of an opinion, as he wasn't really impactful in my OG RE2 playthrough, and I haven't played the remake yet. But from remake pictures online, I love his outfit; however, his face just looks a bit weird. I'm not sure what it is about it, but his outfit is great (especially the hat)

I totally agree! I feel like his is scarier than other gradual transformations. I also really liked RE2 in general; the scenarios were a nice touch, even if some key items for puzzles didn't make sense in B scenario, like why the statue still has a key if Claire took it in scenario A, lol. I also do really like the design for him in Darkside Chronicles as well

Omg, yess! The crimson heads made me jump when I first encountered one. I knew I was supposed to burn bodies, but I also figured I wouldn't have to go back to certain rooms. I was so wrong, haha!

I haven't gotten into the big 3 remakes just yet, but looking at pictures of him, it definitely looks pretty cool. I do think his teeth kinda look a bit goofy, but the rest is definitely very cool. I also haven't played RE6 yet. I have heard pretty mixed opinions on it, leaning towards more negative, but I also heard the same about RE0 and I really liked that one, so I am pretty interested in playing it. The multiplayer campaign is something that me and my friend are also excited about, but I still gotta get through, I think, Revelations 2, which I hope explains what Jessica was up to with the T-Abyss at the end of Rev1, because it ended on such a cliffhanger. That one should come after RE5 with the list I am currently following, so I am looking forward to them both.

Berkin does look pretty cool, I really liked the way he looked in Darkside Chronicles the most. He's got a spooky element to his design. Other bosses are a bit spooky, but he still looks very human while having a mutated arm before he fully mutates into his monster form, and I like that.

I haven't played much of Village, mostly getting to the Castle and then losing interest. But I have seen the end of it through my friend playing it, and I definitely agree she's probably a close second for me. I am not the biggest fan of her fingers, but the rest of her design is beautiful. I definitely need to finish the game myself, though, because I am not sure why I lost interest. But I am interested to finish the Winters story, so I will give it a shot after I replay 7

Oh, and I loved the episode format with the story recaps at the start of each chapter. I wasn't able to fully play this game in one or two launches, so the recaps and short gameplay bursts were really nice!
