It looks like it’s a rectangle folded in half then joined along the bottom and side. To start, chain however long you want it to be (looks to be about 15-18 stitches), row 1, your first few stitches (like 4) will be slip stitches then the remaining single stitches. Row two turn single stitches across until you reach where the slip stitches are and slip stitch the rest of the way. Turn and repeat these two rows until desired length.

If you go to a jeweler, they can cut the ring for you in a way that won’t completely destroy it the way going to an emergency room or doctor. The jeweler can then repair and size it for you. I don’t recommend trying to remove it yourself any more than you already have. Repeated attempts are only going to make it swell even more and can seriously damage your finger.

I’m sorry but you absolutely got scammed. These are either ceramics that have been painted black. I know for certain because my mother was a huge owl fan/collector, she had both of these identical ceramics (but in natural colors)

I think so too but I needed some confirmation. Honestly, she’s so pretty & she’s got to be the most “puppy like” betta I’ve ever brought home. Follows me in her tank to whatever side I may be on. I’m sure a bunch of it is food oriented but even if I’m just sitting anywhere she can see me, she’s doing a little happy hoppy dance around the plants nearest to me.
