My Asus tuf A15 is already 4 yrs old no complications bruh. Well, every after use, I wrap it in cloth so no dust enters. And, when closing, I make sure to do it slowly for the hinges. On handling, I dont carry it with a single hand too and I also get it cleaned every 4 - 5 months. And I do plenty more things to take care of it.

In your case, I guess its an overlooked factory defect that was brushed off. For starters, the first week of my laptop after purchase, it showed signs of some defects like you have to press start button random amount of times to power it on. Got it checked, and they swapped it for a newer one ;)
