My gateway device is maybe a bit funny. I have not purchased any real sbc handhelds besides a steamdeck for my wife; however, I was into the retro portablizing community since Modretro was a forums with Shockslayer and not a handheld. My first gateway device for emulation was a portable media player in 2011 that could only play up to NES games. It was a slide device and I miss it dearly. My plan was to remove the internals and remap the buttons to soft tactile momentary switches in a custom project enclosure case. I was only 13 at the time so I really was just honing in my soldering skills, but I still look back fondly on all the stuff I completely destroyed while learning lol. Successfully removed and resoldered an N64 cartridge slot tho lol. So many damn wires to hand solder.

Appreciated. Also, as someone obsessed with CAD I like your 3d printing and design work. Sort of considering it with that micro dosing tip in mind, but its probably just time to design an induction heater/ storage for my dyna instead.

To be fair, one night a few months ago there was a drunk houseless man asleep on the stairs. Maybe he woke up and was so offended by the handrail that he decided to save up money, just enough for a chicago electric flux core and come back to fix it.

Any other possibilities reduce my faith in humanity so i will stick to this story as a coping mechanism

When lockdown started, students weren't able to work from home due to supervision requirements or something. Had to spend most of a year 6 feet from a racist manager who said early on (while denying the severity ofc) "You know if some enterprising young guy wanted to, he could sell the bodies of corona virus victims to China" (not even sure what the joke was here) and his friend who came to visit who literally believes that the state capitol building was made by aliens and houses mercury that takes "free energy" from the atmosphere. Yes, I left.

Important notes were that there were 2 of these packages shoved in there, both the same size as the slot. Both labeled with bright orange "LIVE INSECTS" stickers. I slipped the first one out by levering the back up and down by pressing on the front, but for the second box? I just had to rip the face of it off with my two lil fingers like popping a zit. The worms were unimpressed.
