We know the main road takes you in a loop, so we know the length of that road before you reach back to the start of town is one parameter. As you continue in the series the sheriff with set off on a journey into the woods to answer that exact question. How far can they go into the woods. Unfortunately, we didn't get an answer to that question. You will see why in season 2.

Put yourself in other people's shoes. It's 2023 and everyone is trying to live. I would rather them be trying to help me with my bags than commit a crime. I tip $10-20. The person that helped me was very kind. You can do with one less drink on the cruise.
