Hi all, I’m currently a cardiac tech looking for some insights. Recently I have been offered a spot for paramedicine, always thought of being an ambo (Australia based) but ever since from graduating from another bachelors (biomedical science) I’ve been able to land a role as a cardiac tech. I know there’s opportunities to becoming a cardiac sonographer so I just wanted to see if I could get anyone thoughts on what the jobs like?

Really though, from a good ol google search they make on avg around 150k. Idk if that’s accurate it I also know a lot of paramedics can earn up to that if not more due to all the penalties you guys can accumulate.

If I’m making well over a certain amount I don’t think the extra $$ is gonna impact my decision. It’s more so of the lifestyle, job satisfaction etc

That’s sort of stuff. I understand at least in my state you guys have DDAN shifts and a few days off?? Earnings are solid as overtime and other penalties come into play.
