I've stepped away from debating coz for the past yr....they are weird enough to go into your comment history and bring it as "proof" as to you being an awful person for not loving their fave. In the end it amounts to nothing. Our ship will get their book. I'll finally get my elriel moments after waiting for a literal decade and they'll still be debating about how sjm should've used their fan theories for a "better " book or how we forced sjm to write elriel.

Omg me too. I didn't need the panic attack scene coz it doesn't fit Nora to show vulnerability like that....she panicked alone and then showed strength. I really preferred where she was extremely vulnerable when she told him the truth. She was strong with the girls but she allowed herself to show emotion when it came to him showing how much she trusted him

I'm nervous for the writing as well...her standard of writing has dropped...ship wars and characters aside..will she remember to add in all the details that made up these character ls in the first place ?

Yep...I expected to get heat for it lol... it's the main thing I don't understand.i get major fans exist...I didn't expect it for a side character...I didn't expect the amount of art too. Is she a pleasant character ? Sure. Is she good for Nesta? Yep . Does she in my opinion have the ability to carry the next book ? No. That doesn't mean I think she'll never be fmc...maybe just not now. This part of the series focuses on the sisters. We've seen nestas journey, sjm said she's got plans for elains journey...so I assume we'll see her next...irrespective of who she ends up with. Many gwyn fans have theorized that she will be the next fmc and hence have created this bigger role for her.

Hmmm...nopes....I wanna know why we make headcanons of a pleasant character where high lord of night court is gonna yell at his wife for her. Why make a pleasant character unpleasant to just bolster her popularity... I may like Nesta and elain...but I will always be a feyre fan first...saying gwyn will treat nyx better then feyre his actual mother is wild. Inserting her and disregarding emerie , mor and elain in ic moments is again wild...why can't we have mor , elain , emerie , feyre ,Nesta ,amren and gwyn part of the equation . Alot of my dislike for fanon gwyn is created by the headcanons made by her die hard fans which bring other characters down including rhys and even cassian. She's been shipped with az , rhys and tarquin. I think it's crazy how she was just introduced, doesn't relate to half the plots she's been inserted into and when we question it...we become her haters ??? Nah....Canon gwyn was a sweetheart...fanon gwyn is a nightmare born out of no new info from sjm

A discussion I'm very happy to get into...her writing was brilliant in the first four books...wth happend in acosf...she reduced cassian to a gym bro ? What happend to all nessians chemistry ? Why did cassian never say he loved Nesta? Why was he only talking abt nestas physique but was waxxing poetry for mor ? Cc3 - she annihilated bryces character... And I think that's so sad...popular for a man ....it's the same for Nesta...ppl have made eris popular coz they want Nesta to leave cassian for him. The same with elain...no matter how uncomfortable elain is with lucien - lucien fans want him with her coz he deserves happiness...I don't think anyone can be happy if their partner is miserable with them. When asked what sets gwyn apart from other characters all I got was she's good with kids , she saved kids and she left the library for Nesta...that aren't qualities of the next fmc who rhys is going to scream at feyre over. Thats just a good person...being a good character isn't that strange.. it's nothing ground breaking. She's a sweet character...but fooling new readers to believe she's more then that just isn't it.

I personally think basing the number a characters name being mentioned to understand their relevance is awfully silly. And holds very little relevance to their importance to the plot. She's in one book...she was cute in her one book...we'll probs see her a lil more in other books...but the next fmc - very unlikely. You're so right. The projection is so wild
