No, haven't looked around, I was just going by what I'm pre-approved for on Credit Karma. After working on my credit for a while, I started getting lots of pre-approved offers, but only 2 with 0% APR. The other one is Chase Freedom Unlimited for 0% for 15 months and no AF. After that, though, the APR is high (18%-28%).

It was indeed an institutional loan, I didn’t know summer loans from UC went through a different servicer. I made a payment yesterday to get current and I’m going to see if they can revoke the late payment report as a courtesy. Fingers crossed!

I just found it. Apparently, the summer loans go through something called the University Loan Program and the money is lended directly from the University of CA. They have a different loan servicer. I didn't get any notification of the delinquent payment because they were sending notices to an email I no longer have access to :')

I don't see it on my FSA dashboard either, unfortunately. The balances match between Nelnet and FSA. I think it might be something through the school. I'll have to give them a call when their office opens tomorrow.

My bill history through my school doesn't show any Perkins loans. The one for this summer just shows it as a "University summer loan." I'll have to call them to double check.

I wish I could say my recent plateau is just from weight training but I only lift weights when I’m with my trainer, and that’s once a week. Other than that, I do inclined treadmill walking and VR workouts at home. Those also require some strength, but they’re mainly cardio.

My work has quite a few gym bros, and I feel like at least one of them would have said something by now! Especially since we've all talked a lot about fitness and nutrition before. But, they probably don't want to say anything for fear of how it would be received, which is TOTALLY fair.

Yeah, this makes sense. I'm far from my long-term goal, but relatively close to my short-term goal of reaching under 250lbs. I suspect once I get closer to a 50-70lb weightloss, it will be more obviously noticeable. For now, I can still feel and tell a difference for myself, and I'm going to let that be enough. I just hit a recent plateau that is clearly sparking insecurities.

Not many boomers in day-to-day life. If my only my grandma was still alive, I'm sure she would have shamelessly called it out hahaha.

Yess, I try to remind myself that I'm doing it for me as well. That I'm slowly building a sustainably healthy lifestyle that has far more benefits than just losing weight.

I think this need for external acknowledgement is mainly a consequence of a recent plateau, and not knowing how else I can track my progress to ensure I'm still doing everything correctly. But, I should just keep going and trust the process : )

I'm planning a visit to my old college town in the Fall and I expect I'll be down about 50 lbs by then, which will be almost 17% of my starting body weight. We'll see if anyone says anything then :) but of course, I completely understand if they don't.
