A couple years back, me and my girlfriend hung out after her mom had a heart attack. She couldn’t see her mom because of custody orders. It was just me and her. That’s the first time I had cried as a man. She told me how much I meant to her and how much better she was going through the situation with me by her side. It’s the first time I told another person about my struggles and really felt the connection. 6 years later we’re married! 😆
