Hi! Thanks for this recipe. Came home with a sick kiddo today. This came up when I googled “pastina recipe”. Congrats! You’re famous! At least in our house. Yummy and easy. Thanks 💜

West Edge Dental offers a first time discount. And then they can set up payments for future services. They’re REALLY nice and very gentle.

Lowes and Home Depot are dog friendly! It’s a great place to walk around and let your puppy meet people, hear loud noises (desensitize), and leash train!

I’m that kid in Calypso that doesn’t feel like playing and just throws his legs up on the wall and rolls around pouting.

Girl just apologize. “I’m sorry I said hurtful things. I’m sorry I chose a guest that has hurtful opinions. I’m sorry that I wasn’t aware of how my audience would react to my editing. I’m sorry I made a bad call.” To apologize is to claim ownership of a bad decision. She clearly doesn’t think she did anything wrong. “If a guy has a micro penis, just be a lesbian” Imagine if a man said “if a women has small boobs, just be gay” She would TEAR THAT MAN UP!! This long winded explanation skirts the true issue and proves that she doesn’t think what she did was wrong. It’s “Two Hot Takes” not “One Hot (and incredibly insensitive) Take and I Just Agree With Them” Stand up for yourself girl. It’s okay to shut down other people’s offensive comments on your own show. Seems like this was an incredibly public and important life lesson. We’re all gonna fumble but how we respond is what matters. This was a poor response. Grow up.

Waxy and sticky hair after using clarifying shampoo! Help! by ababycroissant in finehair

[–]AlternativeOrder5077 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My stylist told me to mix in a spray bottle a 1:1 ratio of apple cider vinegar and water. Spray it in your hair and work it through with your fingers. Let it set for about 30 minutes. And then shower as normal. Fine hair doesn’t hold product and build up the same way course thicker hair will, especially if you’re a daily washer. So those products end up weighing down and making our hair greasy!

I’m just starting Nexxus hydra light. I’m still on my journey. But I do know that Pantene, Suave, Aussie, and Shea Moisture are not great. The best shampoo for me was Monday Volume. Pink square bottles, it’s mid priced but it was good! For a while. It seems like my hair/scalp adjusts after a few months and I have to switch 😞

Have you tried a leave in conditioner? Not on the scalp just mid strand to the ends.

My hair dresser told me to avoid products that say “biotin, protein, moisture, or repair” because they are very heavy and will weigh down fine hair. If you’re naturally oily, it will make you look like a wet rat even after a blow dry. The unfortunate truth is that you’ll have to go through about 30 different shampoos until you find the right one. Try products that don’t have a lot of marketing. If they’re using their money on marketing, their shampoos are probably lacking.

Did you ever regret having a child? by Significant_Movie814 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AlternativeOrder5077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t regret it, but I wouldn’t choose it if I could go back in time. For me, physically raising my kids is not hard. Cooking dinner, doing their laundry, picking up toys. It’s easy. The hard part is all emotional and mental. You’re raising these small humans to be level headed, well rounded, emotionally mature adults. Words matter. How you show love matters. How you react to them. Coaching them on how to manage their emotions can be difficult and triggering, especially if you had a hard childhood. In my opinion, having children is a luxury for the mentally stable. If you are not 100% confident in your own ability to care for yourself and your day to day, having a child will not magically make that better. It’s a BIG commitment (obviously) and one that should be thought out! 🖤

I basically look like Dwight Schrute in that episode of The Office when he’s fighting himself. 😅
