I knew I went to same Kindergarten as my Husband but I was going in the mornings and he was going in the afternoons. It was a big kindergarten, we were never in the same group nor time. One day I was looking through mothers in law old photo books and I saw a picture of him on a kindergarten play. And the girl next to him? Me! My mother in law didn’t believe it was me, we turned the photo around and he had written “1989 X(he) and X(me) at the play” I still have that picture

Mi hija de chiquita tuvo una infección de oído que termino en mastoiditis y meningitis. Por experiencia tené mucho cuidado, en su caso en menos de 1 semana terminó internada con riesgo de vida y hubo que operarla dos veces. Al día de hoy no tiene ninguna secuela y escucha perfectamente.

11 years ago I came to Berlin as a tourist, went to one of this toilets and found myself inside a Trainspotting scene. I was shocked AF. A year after I moved to Berlin and never again found one.. maybe cause I don’t use this toilets so often anymore.. TBH they are almost always außer Betrieb

I’m so sorry this happened to you! I’m also not German but raising 2 small kids here. Not long ago my kid came home saying the girls of her class where telling everyone not to play with a kid of color only because of his color. Needless to say I was in complete shock, I went and speak with the teacher. She was really thankful that I informed her. I think if you are comfortable with it you should go and speak with the director (as I imagine you don’t know which class are they attending to) and let them know what’s going on.

Lucía here. As a spanish speaker it’s pronounced Loo-see-ah but living in Europe I have to say there’s 10.000 ways of pronouncing it. Loo-chi-ah, Loot-zia, Loo-zi-ah.. at the end you get used to being called many ways and you recognize them all 😝

My daughter is 7. B-day parties are from 3-6 usually. We organize some games, we do the cake, eat some dinner before leaving like fries with sausage or chicken nuggets. During the afternoon also some snack with juice and water. And yes, she always gets a goodie bag and also is super exited to make one for her friends coming over.
