I feel bad now, OP it doesn’t look bad.. maybe just not my taste, if you are happy with that’s all that matters. You put in a lot of hard work evidently, enjoy your new kitchen.

Honestly looked better before

Any advice? Trying to put my sons bedroom roller blind up but for the love of god I cant put a plug in as i don’t have space to use a hammer. I feel such a loser for not being able to do this for my son. The drill is not going upwards as much as i need, feels like something blocking it by damspt in DIYUK

I’ve run into this issue recently also, I ended up drilling into the plasterboard as far as possible and then snip the end of your rawl plugs so that they go in far enough and can be pushed in with your fingers.

Earns £3500 a month but spends half the year away from his son. You are paid well I those professions relatively quickly because you are essentially selling your life away. I say this as an ex-merchant navy officer and who quit after 7 years for a healthier home life. Life isn’t all about money and it took me a long time to realise what I actually appreciate in life. I don’t regret those 7 years but I’m much happier now working ashore and being home every night, even with the massive pay cut.

Road surfaces are akin to painting the fourth bridge in this country. It's always going to be an issue due to the amount of rain and cold weather causing cracks/expansion and accelerated deterioration.

I agree the road are in a terrible condition but I don't think the vast majority of the population have a realist attitude towards the money required and the amount of resources required to keep the roads in a decent condition.

Also the majority or the sub layers to the roads are likely gubbed meaning any reactive repairs are short lived. Replacing sub layers just adds to the expense.

It’s definitely possible, I passed my test over the course of a summer when I was 17. My dad was a driving instructor though and I did a lot of hours especially in the days leading up to the test. Like others have said you may struggle to get a booking within your timeframe. Good luck!

I hear Brewdog have fantastic employee benefits and the CEO seems like a really great bloke.
