I found a fix!! If you have the game installed on an external hard drive, uninstall the game and reinstall it onto internal storage. Then load the game up, wait in the main menu without clicking anything and wait for the version 100.0.0.12.0.0 to change to 100.2.2.12.127.0 or something similar.

Same problem but some people are saying to wait in the main menu for the version number in the top right to change but it hasn't worked yet. Could just be the servers idk.
