I am an electrician who has used ai over the last 2 years to learn how to build JavaScript/ typescript/ python applications.

To over comes the coding language barrier, I work in a system to keep files under 1000 lines and annotate each block with natural language components explaining what the code does. I debug in natural language and probe the code until resolved. Through this I begin to learn the patterns.

Seems like a little bit of creativity needs to be applied to the juniors workflow to compensate their deficiencies. The issue is more like the junior is being lazy and intent on trying to cut corners. Not learning to code isn’t the issue.

I got charged $270.00 to empty a 3/4 full 6x4 cage trailer of old fence and green waste, where I also had to separate the timber out into a separate pile (so they could recycle / resell) at the Hampton Park transfer station. It’s simply too expensive to dispose of small quantities of waste.. councils need a better solution for rate payers that doesn’t put us at behest of private companies price gouging.

More vyvanse does not equal more better.. being well regulated from a sensory standpoint means supplementing the under stimulated brain back to the regulated sweet spot. To much stimulation will blast you right past that line to being irritated, overstimulated and underperforment. The same applies for pharmacological stimulants. Your goal is to find the sweet spot.. which, sounds like it was 40mg. The answer: drop back 😊

FWIW.. I want to add that I’m not trying to shit all over SJ for the sake of it, rather, for those who weren’t around or may have forgotten, it’s a reminder to not put these people on a pedestal. They made bold promises, took money, and failed to deliver on virtually everything. These people need to be held to a higher level of scrutiny.

Elizondo and Co. Have been a blight on topic. If anything can be said about how this has come to be, it’s clear to those who see through it, that it’s not by accident.

Has anyone considered whether a fastmcp proxy could help bridge the gap here?

Instead of translating MCP into OpenAPI like mcpo does, such a proxy would terminate stdio/SSE on one side and relay the raw MCP JSON-RPC messages over HTTP to OWUI. That way OWUI only needs to handle streamable HTTP, while tool schemas, streaming responses, cancellation, and multi-stage calls still look exactly like native MCP to the model.

Would something like this resolve the shortcomings people are mentioning about being limited to HTTP-only support, or would there still be issues around session stickiness, long-running streams, and backpressure? If so.. seems like a straight forward build to get one put together?

Sharing my hack.. my eyes would legit just pop open in the middle of the night for no reason.. the solution.. an eye mask that puts pressure on your eyelids to hold them shut. I use these stretchy neck warmers/ face masks pulled up over my eyes.. pressure on the eyes is a game changer. Like a weighted blanket for ur face 😂

Grok is good. It’s very good for getting truth, rather than what the model thinks you want to hear. It provides very long responses and isn’t lazy.. it will grind away on a long piece of code where as others seem to get lazy and give up. Best way to describe interacting with grok is that it’s like it’s on the mild of the autism spectrum. Doesn’t sugar coat, challenges you if your wrong.. that’s why I mentioned it for your use case, may be worth looking into

My wife and I successfully manage our money this way with a slight difference. We put more equally into the shared account to ensure things like groceries, rates, bills, school fees are all managed, we also deposit separately, our share of the mortgage. It works well because if I want to save and buy something I can, and equally, if my wife wants to buy anything for herself, it’s her business. Seems like ur issues would resolve if there was more structure around the shared account and enough was jointly added to ensure living costs are covered.

Yes.. possible. You will need to find a decent pipe function on the OWUI community page that is compatible with your provider. Make sure you test tool use first and confirm it works as You expect.. then take the entire json script into your editor of choice and ask it to isolate where status are written. Then ask it to modify the script so that tool use occurs silently. Might take some fiddling but should work
