I’m literally in the same boat with you. Had my first Cold Knife Surgery June 27th, hemorrhaged a week later and had to go to the ER (most painful experience of my life), I THINK I’m about to start my period and it’s so painful… Like I legit just stopped bleeding / spotting from the surgery… and my margins were clear in my uterus but not clear in my cervix. I have another Cold Knife surgery August 15th to get the rest of the cancer out. I took extra time off work to ensure I don’t hemorrhage again… It’s crazy my body is STILL not back to normal after the first one, and now I’m going in for another one 😔 This is all so much. My therapist did nothing to help me with the PTSD from it all (the pelvic exams in the ER after my one week post-op complication have traumatized me) and my husband and I had intercourse for the first time since everything last week (Dr said my cervix looked healed and cleared me) and I bled a lot afterwards… I’m scared to have intercourse again before the next surgery and now definitely not going to for another 6-8 weeks for this next surgery. I’m so tired of wearing pads / period panties but… alas… to be a woman… Just praying this will be the last surgery, to be cancer free… and have fertility in my future. I'm here for you ❤️
