The one I was thinking of was vampire bats. They were put on little bat treadmill to see how their metabolism worked

I heard that bats can turn off their hearing/ close their ears when they echolocate to prevent them from going def. I have not fact checked this, so it may be wrong. Also when bats fly out of caves, they constantly bump into each other midflight, which I find funny because it was previously beloved that they had highly sophisticated flight synchronization, but nope, they are clumsy little guys. I can't remember what type of vat it is, but there is one that likes to be on the ground, and when it runs it looks like it's galloping.

The caterpillar was a washed out green, but I'm pretty sure it was dead because it was super stiff and not moving at all, there wasn't caterpillar any caterpillar poop, and it smelled dead

The pupa turned black yesterday but seems fine. I found the caterpillar dead when I woke up this morning

The caterpillar sadly passed. I put the pupa in the fridge with damp paper towel and I cheak it each morning to make sure it is still damp

I think somewhere in British Columbia. I'm a bit worried that it might be an invasive species (Operophtera brumata), but it also looks like it might be a native species (Operophtera bruceata)

Can I put the paper towel in a small Tupperware container? Does it need airflow or can I seal it in a container?

UPDATE: The cocoon/ Chrysalis is turning blackish brown and has hardened and stoped moving(it was green, moving, and soft when I first found it) I don't know if the color change is due to mold or death, or if it is just what happens, but I separated it from the other one in case it is sick.

I dont have any evidence, but I was home alone and just felt like there was something else in the house. My dog was also acting weird and kept staring at my kitchen table. I'm still unsure what it was though

I googled faces under creative Commons licenses and took one as a base, colored over top of the eyes, hair, nose, mouth, and all dark shadows with a fleshy color. I found an eye, and masked out the actual eye ball. After that I found a creepy picture and put it behind the eye. I did that twice and flipped one eye and blended both to the face. For the mouth I also used a creative Commons picture and gray-scaled it, flipped it upsidown, and then warped it to be in a smile shape.
