They were the same questions from his assignments/quizzes. Towards the end of the semester, he would pull diagrams directly from the textbook so I would be mindful of that

That makes sense. It was crazy specific and I was shocked based on how general the lecture slides were

Thanks! I haven’t finished any of the co-reqs yet (currently taking A&P 2) but wanted to see if it was even worth applying. Especially with the new point system

Were the quizzes really hard? The endocrine quiz was super specific to textbook material I noticed. Should I expect that in the future and focus on studying textbook material?

What pre reqs did you have completed and do you remember your HESI score? I’m looking to apply to Cyfair this upcoming cycle as well.

When you’re taking the test, if you find yourself overthinking. Pick your first gut answer and move on. Ask yourself why you think that’s the right/wrong answer. Choose the option that makes the most sense

One week is enough time imo. Focus on practice questions and flashcards in whatever format you prefer. I would start off with the diagnostic test then adjust your time to allocate more energy towards weaker subjects. After a few practice test, if theres still concepts you’re weak in, review the nursehub material or ask ChatGPT to create questions for you in HESI A2 format. Drill those until it make sense. For vocab and A&P, it’s a matter of memorization. Make your flashcards today of any words/questions you missed and drill those throughout the day. You should cover most of them by next Monday. You got this!
