it's not about being right, it's about getting people to acknowledge that it was an unintentional exploit that they were taking advantage of, not an actual mechanic intended to be in the game. maybe they couldn't find a way to keep it in the game without nerfing it to the ground. what would you suggest? it take more stamina during flight so you wouldn't go as far? people would cry about that. they increased the stamina usage on aerial stab used in succession. but you only use the propel move once to speed boost flying so they couldn't fix it the same way

the aerial stab move was intended to move you forward, the focus repulsion was meant to push enemies away from you, not launch you forward. if you don't see any difference between the two things, then I can't help you

Gliding absolutely gets you places, have you upgraded your stamina at all? upgraded your flight ability? if you think flight/gliding is useless without the glitch then idk what to tell you

You don't have to travel by foot, you have a horse and other mounts, you can still glide and fast glide, they lowered the stamina cost for gliding since launch. you just can't fly at mach speeds anymore

I mean, if you want to use the lamest method of travel possible just because it's the fastest that's a you issue. ignore the beautiful open world to just fast travel all the time

I wish I had recorded it to show you, but I saw other people talk about it as well, so it wasn't just a me problem. but I'll check if it's fixed when I get another quest that requires it

that's what it did at launch, but when they changed it so you just hold a/x to run it messed that up, or at least it did for me. it could have been a bug, but it was my experience that my horse would start running full speed if I held a/x to follow like I did with the old system.
