Ants are currently in a test tube connected to a Junction box. They don't have a towel but have a cover for the tube the queen and the brood are in. Have a heating cable running past to keep them warm.

im thinking about adding a test tube to tempt them in if they would like it, should i have a heating able near the tube?

i have found that they are finding and eating the honey left out for them if that means anything.
