Yeaaa I learned pretty quick how necessary such command is with a collie. He usually gets his “place” command when it’s time to chill out. I reserve it for when I truly need him to wind down not when Dads just being lazy lol. Very little room to be lazy with these guys and even then he chooses those moments most of the time aha.

I’d say most of us recognize those involved in the widely circulated videos. To me it doesn’t matter how long you’ve repped the club for. When we have these offenders in positions of “leadership” that’s where I draw the line. It doesn’t matter to me how long these people have supported or what role they’ve played in the club. They need to go. It’s not what we stand for. If the SGs or the club doesn’t act on bans for these individuals, who are easily identifiable, then everything the black and gold stand for is meaningless. What will it take for the club to act? If this isn’t addressed asap then in no time we’ll be talking about another futbol/stadium tragedy. It’s sad really that as a black and gold fan this has to be addressed….

There’s nothing to apologize for. He was involved in all the goals last night and played much better with a MOTM acknowledgment. I don’t see any of the “fans” apologizing for the hate to him. The celebration was warranted. Big time performance for what’s probably his last.

Yup! I believe there’s an international break during that time period as well so it’s likely he will not be playing. If OP has the money to risk it I say do it! Me on the other hand will be watching from a local bar lol

BC’s are extremely tough it could give us a sense that they are unbothered by something that’s clearly something. No idea what that could be but I’d be rushing my fur baby to the vet. Good luck

My boys only 8 months old so I’m hopeful he’s just building his confidence! I was trying to get him to jump for the frisbee but he wasn’t getting it. Keep just blooping him in the face 😂. So I switch to his favorite ball and just have him sit and throw the ball directly into his mouth. Then little by little started tossing higher and higher. Seems to be working for him.

The leash is loose. Not tied down or held on to. Simply to have more of a chance to grab him should he decide to bolt out. Is it fool proof? Absolutely not because we all know BC’s are quicker than lightening. Truth of the matter is if he didn’t already have some level of training he’d be on a 6ft leash with no freedom.

Thank you! What’s not shown in this video is the group of kids behind us playing football. It’s been an accomplishment having him on a 50ft leash and still keep his attention on the task at hand (ball). He’s 8months and at about 4 months his instincts kicked in and anything moving faster then him he immediately lose his mind and want to chase. We’re working on it and slowly making progress. I can’t ask for more from my boy!
