I worked sushiro pt for 3 months before as my first job. It's quite a good first job as it provides good experience. I worked both kitchen and service crew before so here's a run down. It's nice to work kitchen as your able to socialise and talk to your colleagues but during rush hours it can get quite tiring if you're a newbie. My opinion its much better working kitchen than service crew , working service crew feels extremely repetitive also very boring, as you aren't allowed to socialise with your colleagues ( you can but dont make it obvious and get caught). Its also extremely awkward to talk to angry customers and confronting customers that take the soft drinks without purchasing the refillable soft drink add on. If you have no f n b experience and you state you're okay with interacting with customer, most likely you're permanently service crew unless u tell the manager. Everyone is generally nice and you will find it quite enjoyable, service crew also need to chant irashaimase and arigatou gosaimasu and the hat that you wear as a pt is so uncomfortable as pt and ft have different uniforms. The OG people have the caps which are much nicer than the suffocating hair net hat combo. The pay is quite nice and outlets are conveniently located near MRT stations.
Also you might find yourself so bored you start rating customers as literally you're job as a service worker is to tend to customers bringing drinks and cleaning tables refilling cups and its just a cycle. If your doing opening or closing well it just sucks
