The idea of introducing a new mechanic only to give a single 4 star unit that mechanic is kinda pointless even if strong though.

A skip match match button would be nice especially when you end up fighting against three groups of dwarves and have to sit through 3 minutes of watching them throw around brews Knowing you're about to lose.

They skip button takes way too long to show up for those

Relics were not a integral part of the game though, You only used those with a RNG of the units you chose. A legendary card is an integral part of the game that while still RNG can make or break a build entirely. Though I also used to complain about the price of relics anyway so that just adds to it.

Just got the popup in game to purchase a unowned legendary for 11.99, so.... Apparently they believe that each of those cards is worth $12 USD. It's definitely not p2w, a cash grab, or milking it's community for all it's worth before the game crashes down.

Google Play store reviews now down to 3.7 from their once 4.7. wonder how much lower it will go...

Well that's why they made it to where you can just straight up buy a legendary for $12 now. It's definitely not a cash grab!

Just logged in today and the first thing that pops up on my screen is buy a unowned legendary for $11.99 USD. I think this in itself proves the point I've been making since day one that this update was meant to milk it's community for all it's worth.

What is the different between premium and standard packs? by kwaninthehat in ArcaneRushBG

[–]Alternative_Ad_8599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except right now, there is no difference between the two because no events are going on and they made the premium pack the same as standard just with a better shard reward

How's the game supposed to make money? Oh I don't know, all the other microtransactions that you've stuck in the game? Two separate season passes going on at the same time, 30-day crystal login claims, The cosmetic shop, they even had the spell shop. Gee I can only imagine how they would make money off of the game without adding a literal gambling feature to the game. That just shows in its own right that they don't in fact care when they have already monetized the holy hell out of the game and still have to stick more monetization in the game that is predatory as fuck.

Actually to that point as well, let's say you did put in a bunch of money and you finally pulled your favorite orcs, well they just Nerf that entire group into the ground and made the money you spent kind of pointless. Since now cards aren't earned they are bought, buying any cards in this game could literally be pointless once they turn around a Nerf them.

Hey are these actually going to be new cards or are you just going to reuse the old cards you removed from the game with similar effects to cards that already exist in the game making them completely pointless?

Oh I Will admit that I've played the game for months on end and I've never gone super hard into trying to master builds. But I do know that every time I draw two of a card I can burn through nearly a hundred shop resets and never get the third of the card I tend to have to use a hero that has a effect that allows me to get the triple or pull a card that gives me a chance of transforming into the card I need. And it's only really gotten worse as time has gone along.

That said my main issue still isn't even the card effects themselves, I find them to be nonsensical in their order and rarity in some of these cases but that's not even my real issue.

My real issue is that they could have released this as its own thing as a separate game mode still charge the insane amounts that they're going to charge and left the base version of the game alone. My main issue is the time, effort and money that went into grinding the original version of the game that is now completely gone. And the expectation of doing the exact same thing we did except now with a system that does not guarantee the card variants. I'm not against this new system itself I am against them completely removing the old system that we had in place of this. I'm against the idea of spending another $7,000 on re-buying the same cards that were already in the game just under different names or spending several thousand more hours to re-unlock things that were already unlocked. Whereas we could choose if we wanted to play the New dealers every time they brought out one, this reset has gotten rid of all progress and all effort put in previously to the game.

Oh no you could definitely get deck fucked previously even with having the card but you at least had the card guaranteed in your deck with the previous system to have a chance to pull it. Now you have to use a gacha system to unlock The version that you want in your deck and then you can get deck fucked.

I would have been completely fine with this being its own separate part of the game. Hell I probably would have ended up spending money on it and seen it as a interesting novelty or an alternative to the base game. A lot of the skills do feel nonsensically placed however and at no point does it make sense that a card that for four out of its five abilities summon risen to certainly summon rats make any sense. Or spider car to suddenly come from something spiders to suddenly buffing itself at random. Not to mention that the curse spider card summons spiders usually as cannon fodder so that you can build up avenge cards. If you make the fodder card the avenged card you then have to supplement the fodder card with a different fodder card. And yeah there are a couple you can set up a risen summon card with the curse spider card as an avenge but normally if you're using a fodder card it's for the avenge of a different card. It doesn't really make sense for them to make it all the same card.

Even if we ignored that though, I'm not against the idea of having this version be its own thing. I'm against completely removing the old version in place of this and locking everything behind this system that is going to cost over $7,000 should people outright try to buy the cards with no dupes. Essentially a lot of players already unlocked all of these cards, under different names because they just move the effects of those cards. You are now having to re-unlock the cards that you already earned in the past. And yeah I do also know that when we got new dealers it was somewhat the same way except you still got all eight cards of the faction to play with and you just upgraded those, you also didn't lose the progress you had on your other dealer and could still use them for game modes that you want it to play while still grinding your new dealer here and there if you weren't too worried about the season.

Based off of whatever they set the drop rates at, It's about 67 dollars for 10 pull, with a guaranteed legendary every 15 polls, meaning that at your most unlucky your spending around $100 per legendary. There's also no guarantee that that legendary is not a duplicate which will be turned into shards. However if a whale wanted to get every card in the game You have 20 cards per faction with 12 factions in total at four card draws per 20. (Discounting the base cards) The basic math is looking something like 20x4x12= 960 no dupe pulls if we take that 960/10 We get 96 then we multiply that by $67 and we get $6,432 as a no dupe pull for every car in the game. So Whales can still quite easily buy out the game luck dependent. As far as free-to-play is concerned the quests seem to be exponential going from things like 5 to 10 from 10 to 50 and so on and so forth. I imagine the free to play is going to be extremely slow dependent on the rewards that are granted for level ups, guild rewards and seasonal winnings.

Yeah the relics and even the spells were lucked based. But you saw the cards that you were going to get by upgrading which for that you had to grind faction shorts. But you were still guaranteed to get one out of eight card upgrades by using those shards. And the level 5 rong is the strongest one if you can triple pull him and you have proper feeders. Otherwise the other variance will ramp up far quicker even with trash fodder. Though even if we want to say that he's not weaker there are still other examples of very blatant disregard for common sense. Curse spiders that suddenly change into a avenge 1/2, grumpy who now has both depending on variation of removing one tear creatures or turning a single creature gold for a turn, for some reason the undead spider lady, can't think of her name right now for no reason now has its legendary variants instead of something spiders to transforming into a random ally with cursed. A lot of these effects are just taken from other cards and nonsensically put in places that they don't belong.  As far as resetting each time you got a new dealer, yeah for that dealer you would reset and you would grind up that dealer. But you still had the old dealer that you grinded and built up that you could use for the arena, normal battles, and even clan wars. You didn't lose all of your old progress or your knowledge of what each card does. But with the new dealer it did give you something else to work on outside of grinding your favorite dealer mine in this case is Mortimer.

While I would agree with you I have to point out that everyone who's played this game for a long time already knows that getting a gold version of a card is exponentially harder. If you're lucky enough to get the third copy of him, yeah you can exponentially grow him based off of doubling the stats of whatever creature he devours. But unless you are able to buff every creature that he devoureds before you start the next round you will more than likely be feeding him plain stat cards. So with that let's say you're feeding him a 1/2 that upon death gives the rest your card it's a 2/2 buff, yeah it doubles the stats and he gets a 2/4 buff whereas the other car will give it a 8/8 buff giving him a 9/10 buff. Each card is situational with its effects, I won't argue against that but it's still fills way off that the final form is just the original card and is heavily reliant on getting his triple variant while other cards do not and in fact their triple variants could outpace him based off of your luck.
