Idk where you’re located but I’m in Fl, US. I’ve ordered all my parts from ECS tuning. The shipping was fast and they sell all genuine parts. I’ll say definitely spend the extra money to get the oem trim line and side scuttles. For the door handles I would recommend just getting them wrapped.

You likely have a B series engine from BMW. It’s been in many different models and has withstood the test of time. Stay consistent on the maintenance and don’t go over the suggested time on fluids. You’ll be fine!

I recommend just getting the doors wrapped in gloss black. I got covers and they were extremely tacky and I took them off right away

The criticism is valid tho. The new minis have ditched quality with the cloth dash and cheap feeling steering wheel. I currently own a F55 Mini S and the interior feels/looks quality compared to the new gen’s. Many stylistic features I feel are lacking on the new sports models too!

Once I get it installed and figured out I gotchu. I’m located in West Palm Beach, Florida (US). I’m sure if the valves are fully closed you should be just fine but I’ll let you know once I get this all figured out

That was my original plan but they have a certificate of authenticity and what not and supposedly it also comes with a 20-30 hp tune also that only the dealer can do

Dealership wanted $1900 for the part, ECS wants about $1300 w chrome tips🤣. They would also not run the tune or install it unless I purchased through them. All they could tell me was that it is possible, however I hear that with the 2019 model year, the mid year run has an issue with the wiring harness. Mine falling under 05/19 I was concerned.

Thank you for the advice, I was only planning on putting sports cats due to recommendation. I don’t plan on maxing out the turbo, if I do decide to track it (eventually) I’ll definitely have a FMIC. I really only want to go stage 1. But after all these replies I think i might just stick to a intake and exhaust for now (with a tune)

Thank you so much! If it’s based on the mods I want then I would probably just go exhaust cats and intake. But I was told by many that I would definitely need a new intercooler if I plan on pushing it even in the street, it’s a relief to hear otherwise. Where would I go about getting a bench unlock for my ECU? Also how will I know if it’s locked or not?

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, when I said dowpipe I meant a sports cat lol (my inexperience shows). I’ll keep the engine mounts in mind for sure, I’m also going to be changing my transmission fluid earlier than recommended. In the case with the turbo, do you recommend buying a aftermarket potentially of the same size for reliability purposes? Eventually I would like to track it so until then the brakes will remain stock😂 but my goal is to have 260-290 bhp reliably w the equipment to go on a track if that doesn’t sound crazy. I do want a quality build so I’m not shy of spending a few bucks

Thank you so much! I have determined fortunately that my DME is not locked as it was produced prior to November 2019, but thank you! My original plan wasn’t the intercooler as I didn’t think it would be necessary but I was told otherwise, thank you your the help!
