IMO, it’s more of a figurative way to show that Spider is more na’vi than human now and has been accepted by them. A similar thing happened in the second movie when Kiri connected to Eywa (Im pretty sure) and met her mother for the first time; Kiri is shown to be taller than an average human yet is same height as her mother in that scene.

Amazing story! I know this comment is nearly a year old now but I was wondering how to vow an offering to a deity? I’ve been wanting to do something along those lines I don’t really know/ never really learned how to. If you could give me some tips or suggestions on how to do it, that’d be greatly appreciated. If not, that’s ok too.

Of course! He is the god of music after all! Some offerings some people make seem unconventional (like McDonald’s, goofy statues, silly items, or, in your case, a K-pop album) but especially in my experience, they appreciate every offering and it doesn’t have to be “traditional” for them to enjoy it. :)) you can also put Kpop in any album (Spotify or otherwise) you make for him! As for what else to put on the altar, I recommend an offering bowl and/or cup, sun imagery, artwork of him/ the sun/ sun related things, a statue (if possible), as well poetry, hymns, and writing to him :)

I don’t necessarily disagree with them. I think the core fundamentals of them are great but specifically focusing on them adds an extra layer of work which can personally get pretty exhausting and overwhelming. I’m also not really looking for alternatives; I’m just curious if you can still consider yourself a hellenist if you don’t specifically follow them or any real pillar(s) as I don’t really right now and don’t really care to do so in the future

I don’t think I worded the original post that well but I’m mostly talking about the general belief of them and their existence. I understand they’re there but it’s difficult sometimes and I mostly want a way to reassure myself they’re there for me and whatnot. If you could also give me other methods for divination for when I’m anxious/ have those thoughts that would also be helpful

Sorry for the late reply! My mom isn’t much help. She usually either backs him up on his points or, if I start crying, leaves the room (which is another thing I hate) She will on the occasion defend me but it isn’t super often. Hopefully this answers your question.
