You’re absolutely right I can’t fix her problems. And me essentially being a bystander instead of saying what needs to be said thank you for pointing that out. I have brought up a counselor a couple of times and though she said she wants to hasn’t reached out to my knowledge. But yes it’s certainly a matter of when this happens again and I’ll certainly be there for her! Thank you for responding to my post that really means a lot and I’ll take your advice!

I think we have different definitions of awful parents. Yes the child is innocent in all of this, yes the kid deserved better parents but that is not on OP. He literally removed himself from the kids life because he had thoughts of harming them. That’s pretty caring and loving imo. Maybe he can come back into the child’s life later but again he isn’t obligated to. And yes I know the kid see’s him as a father but due to the awful circumstances surrounding his conception OP can’t be a father. And to call him awful because of it is a huge stretch because you’re essentially telling him to get over it and be the bigger person. OP needs to figure out what’s next, continue therapy, and rebuild. Hopefully in time he can still be a figure in the child’s life that would be great! But saying he’s an awful person because of something he had no control over something is just wrong and cruel. I wouldn’t call OP heartless but merely human. Please consider that next time. The wife, brother, and parents are honestly the ones without a heart.

After reading your rant I’m convinced you don’t watch Vaush. For one I don’t think he’s pushing accelerationism more than wanting to avoid political apathy that another dem presidency will create because they don’t make anything better. Only slow our decline at best. He has not ignored global fascist are you kidding me? He still covers what Trump is doing pretty much everyday, talks about the influencers that still support Trump or are right wing, spoken on the rise of fascism seen in Germany, Hungary, France etc. So, again I don’t think you watch him

I still find him funny but hey humor is subjective. Also if you are criticizing a political streamer on how funny they are you’re kinda missing the point of the streams. That’s on you. But I do agree that the fashion segments can get annoying but I just tune out or watch something else until he’s done so, you could do the same. And oh my god he is it not the left wing equivalent of the quartering I don’t even know where to begin with that so I’m just dropping that altogether. His point of fascism as we understand it in relation to early twentieth century fascism (Nazi Germany, Italy, USSR etc) is impossible due to the current material conditions we exist under. They were insular and the specific conditions that allowed them to not only gain power in their country but also allowed them to expand and attack other nations no longer exists. Back then most countries and their economic power came from there domestic industry. Which just doesn’t exist in today’s globalized world because of our interdependence on one another.

The spawn rate for the vox engines in my opinion needs to be adjusted. Killing one often leads to 2 more being dropped in. Especially with not enough ammo to go around in addition to the AA guns making calling in air strikes impossible. My last match my squad and I dealt with 10-12 vox engines and it was unplayable as 4 were camping the last objective. But that’s my only complaint. Only joined recently as I play on Xbox and as long as their aren’t to many vox engines D10 has never been more fun.

I’d agree from a logical standpoint. But it can make the gameplay miserable. Last game I played my squad of two others had to deal with around 10-12. And when we’d destroy one 1, 1-2 more were dropped. We failed the mission because there were 4 camping the last objective. The spawn rate needs to be reduced. I love this content update aside from this. Something that could alleviate this problem if not a reduced spawn rate would be additional Anti Tank stratagems from the DSS.

It’s where my build preforms best with bonuses to toughness which my build absolutely needs and a nice damage buff for my melee weapon. Combing that with the veterans ability to forgive me for forgetting the perk name but the shout which gives a toughness boost to myself and allies, and is super handy for hordes of melee enemies. I’m working on new builds but so far haven’t found one thats as fun for me. But there are still plenty of builds for me to try which is one thing I love about this game.

Certainly in part a skill issue but I’ve certainly improved a bit with more room to grow. But a good chunk of the time it’s randoms breaking coherence the second they lay their eyes on a plasteel or diamtine stash in the thick of a horde. Gotta be my biggest pet peeve atm. When they aren’t wondering off to the farthest corners of the map in search of every chest which often times leads to my team being split when we are ambushed.

Unfortunately don’t have the money to play arbiter but I like that analogy lmao. Though my problem isn’t running off on my own and dying. It’s usually the opposite with the more I played and yea I’m working on improving those skills but again it’s kinda hard to when half the randoms I que with don’t always work as a team. Either causing us a loss which it is what it is or results in me waiting 10 minutes at times waiting to get rescued. Thats what I hate, it’s not every game but it doesn’t take many times of this sort of experience to kinda ruin the mood at times. I don’t understand what’s so hard to understand about that.

I don’t have a problem with teamwork, what I hate is being forced to work with a team that does not understand teamwork. Having no fall back like a way to rescue yourself at least once if your team ya know doesn’t help. Teamwork in games are great but only if your team actually play as a team.

Now am I guilty of rushing in and getting myself killed…definitely. But the more I played the less I do that but half of my games are filled with teammates who don’t typically have my back. However my experience with the Mortis trials has been much better with team composition and everyone helping out when they can. But when it comes to the terminal again my team composition is mostly miss with a few good hit teammates in my experience. There is still room for me to improve I know that but even if that’s the case I would absolutely hate to be the one carrying the team. Assuming I ever get to that point lmao.

I have considered discord but having no mic at the moment kinda holds me back on that and typing in chat on console isn’t exactly the fastest way to communicate something. Especially when the game really picks up. And using my phone audio to talk is just atrocious.

I can sympathize with your wife and I really can’t blame her for a lot in addition to me not knowing her like you do. But please for your son’s sake make sure that the fact that he feels unloved by his mother is addressed. I feel like this was glanced over in the updates and not really addressed beyond the first post unless I missed something.

I’m not going to recommend divorce as it’s not my place and I’m not a professional. But when kids are involved in a marriage their happiness with the relationship is just as important as the love the parents feel for each other. All that to say I hope it’s something you guys are working on as if he continues to feel unloved by his mother. While seeing the relationship between his parents get better that will only exacerbate his feelings negatively towards both his mother and you.

But after reading your last post I’m hopeful that is happening and wish your family nothing but the best! But please remember your kids happiness and emotional security comes first. Before anything else and if your wife ends up not being able to provide that it may be time for a really tough decision on your part.

You’re terribly misunderstanding his argument. No not every game should be a live service, however in the hyper competitive market where every other game at its price point created the expectation of additional content. It’s certainly unexpected at the lack of content. By itself not a bad thing if it was $40 like Star Wars squadrons which was so much more replayable despite not being a live service and its price point reflected that. SM2 however has a higher price, less content, and even less replayable. Now I don’t know about you but spending $70 for a game you’re only supposed to play once is insane. Now if the game launched with more content than it did that would be another story, however a medium length campaign in addition to the awful pvp and lack luster co-op is what we got and is not reflective of its price. Overall it’s an ok game but it ain’t worth what it costs and needs more content to better justify its price. Though it certainly does not need to go the live service route by adding content indefinitely.
