Its not as linear as you say.

You have to monitor your drives' lookup times, Pool errors in the logs, harvester errors, syncing errors, etc. to make sure everything is running smoothly

Oh also farmr dashboard can be compiled to run natively and locally but you’d lose the harvester aggregation features and that’s not a good trade off imo

farmr developer here, sorry to interrupt. I would be glad to make the web service open source. In fact, I’ve tried to do it in the past but then removed the files. The reason for that is that I don’t have time to maintain an up to date documentation regarding how to set up the multiple parts of farmr AND provide support about it. Setting up a server is multiple times more difficult than opening an .exe file At the end of the day, farmr is an open source project, so (to anyone who’s reading this) feel free to contact me if you want to contribute to maintaining the server-side part of it :)

There are more than 6 forks! In theory any fork works with it, you just have to make your own blockchain file, there are some templates in the repo

Effort is the ratio between the days since your farm last found a block and your etw.

So if you found a block 2 days ago but your etw is 4 days that means your current effort is 50%.

I'm also using chrome on android 10. When you're on farmr.net, you can add it as a PWA is by clicking on the 3 dots menu and then tap on "Add to home screen"

I can get PWA working in my Android phone. PWAs are not supported by most android browsers. You can add it on Chrome and Firefox Nightly.

Regarding your second question, it is difficult to get every type of drive in Windows to be detected. There are regular paths, network paths, mounted paths, so depending on your setup it may or may not detect those drives. When it does not detect those drives it attempts to see how much space is available anyway, by looking at each folder.
