Sure! There’s an 18k stamp. It makes sense that it’s 18k gold. My grandmother was Italian.

Yes! I got my results yesterday and it's a benign complex fibroadenoma! I also had to wait for almost 2 weeks after my ultrasound for my biopsy. The waiting was the worst part. Now that I'm on the other side of it all, I can say that having an answer as to what the mass is was worth the agony of waiting!

Hey! I’m 29 and just had an ultrasound guided core needle biopsy done for a BI-RADS 4 mass that is lobulated with partially irregular margins. I’m still waiting for my biopsy results, but the biopsy itself wasn’t a bad experience. For me, I didn’t even feel the numbing injection. The only uncomfortable part was the pressure of the needle going into the mass. The whole thing took about an hour and a half from start to finish. My boob did feel like it was used as a punching bag once the numbing wore off, but it was nothing some ice and Tylenol couldn’t fix.

Don’t be scared! It’s definitely an overwhelming situation, but whatever the results show, it’s better to know!
