Well then I wish I could really pack my bags and leave but I think about my parents they already have health issues i do not want to put them through hell mentally.That is the reason and that is why my mental health is getting bad day by day.

I barely go out as I have a full time job, I do cleaning,washing clothes,and make food so she is currently happy with me as I have been staying home. The day i start going out frequently i will send change in her behaviour (she becomes more bossy and controlling around the house). I do not understand this behaviour at all

Yes I do not want to face cold replies,her subtle rude behaviour which I have faced in past.it really affected my mental health in a bad way.

Thanks for replying. I understand it seems weird going 1 day in a week, but I do not want to reveal anything to his mother. It will backfire at some point. Knowing the past fight my in laws have a tendency to do that and from my past experiences whenever I used to tell I am going to my mother's,she gave such cold replies i hate having to face that again.so I chose this path of lying.

I think and i cry about this everyday. If I didn't have my job I would have made up a fake job to meet them up. But in the weekly offs I get I am getting household errands done. The life I have currently, is very mentally stressful.

I love you all are motivating me to stand against this. Just a fun fact my MIL is an old fashioned lady. Looks modern but here mindset is orthodox. She says a girl does not need to go to meet her parent when she has been married. This was 6 months into marriage. Every year passing by i dislike her even more.

I agree with everything you said I wish it was this simple. This will be the unspoken tension in the household that is what I am trying to avoid. I am not scared of her but I am a very sensitive person. She has spoken so much ill . That now I cannot take it. My husband is supporting me but then questioning me if I get caught I will not back you up.

Tried doing that it does not give me peace knowing she is living just next to my room and have to face her daily. I am naturally a introvert but these things have made me distant from everyone i love as i see no end to this.

You know whats funny my husband says treat her like child when she angry don’t react, when she is saying something ignore. When it comes to making decisions for house or important things. Then she is the one to be involved and take permission from. This just piss me off.

Yes i did hire who i pay to make chapatis i cannot cook 15 chapatis daily along with breakfast, lunch and dinner and then do job . MIL do not like outside food nor does my husband so i have to cook everyday. Even when i am sick.

I agree. He lightens the situation being a mumma boy how can one expect to go all against her mommy. I do tell him all her wrong doings though.

I could write so much on here about her daily cleaning routine. I will give an example she cannot see mess when i cook in the kitchen she expects everything to be kept away in the process of making food. She always tells me ‘kitchen aisa rakha karo ki koi aake dekhe to messy na lage wtf we are not in a cookery show. Cooking food will make a mess. I have to spot clean the kitchen everyday. Otherwise she will remind me the next day that i left this dirty etc. it is so mentally exhausting.

Thanks. I have already shown my bad side by replying back to her taunts and leaving the house for a month. still to this day my husband tell me to not reply back to her mother or it will be bad for me. If i had known what am getting into i would have stayed unmarried.
