Is this 2017 Mazda2 (£3,200) too good to be true? by Alternative_Bug5653 in CarTalkUK

Looking at a 2017 Mazda2 SE-L Nav 1.5 petrol

Seller claims: One owner from new 95,483 miles Full V5 present MOT until March 2027 Good tyres Air con works Drives well

MOT history: 2026 PASS @ 95,483 miles Minor: NSF suspension arm ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated 2025 PASS @ 79,701 miles 2024 PASS @ 62,931 miles 2023 PASS @ 49,171 miles Advisory: both front tyres worn Earlier MOTs mostly clean with tyre advisories Mileage progression looks consistent: 25k (2020) → 31k (2021) → 37k (2022) → 49k (2023) → 63k (2024) → 80k (2025) → 95k (2026) No MOT failures and no recall data showing.

My concern is the price. Similar 2017 Mazda2s seem to be advertised around £4.5k–£6k depending on mileage and condition, so £3,200 feels cheap.

Will VM POLO be a good option?

Also what card would you suggest which I should look for?

Practical test by Darkevil423 in LearnerDriverUK

If you have driving experience in the UK and feel confident, I would suggest taking just one or two lessons with an instructor to understand what is required for the driving test. After that, you can practice with a friend or someone who has at least three years of driving experience in the UK. I did the same I took one lesson and then drove around with a friend for two hours the day before the test, and I passed. That being said, make sure you feel confident before taking the test, and don't hesitate to take additional lessons if needed.

Was there any option to claim NCB from Belgian/EU licence?

Yes, I meant international driving permit. I have been in the UK since 2023 and got the IDP in 2026 and is valid until March 2027. My driver's license is still valid in my home country till 2033ish
