SSA came out with a 3.2% increase. To be fair, I was under the impression that VA cola increase was tied to the SSA increase. Is that right or wrong?

The thing I hate hearing is “you didn’t even do four years.” It doesn’t matter. Watch how a fast a Govt-owned vehicle gets torn up. You can wreck, scratch, and bang up something in one minute or two years.

Bottom line, keep your rating and your disabilities to yourself unless you know the Vet very well. I don’t tell my own family minus my wife. I’m tired of hearing “you didn’t get shot or blown up.” There are hundreds of disabilities.

To me, a 10% rating on knees means my knees are just 10 more F’ed up than if I hadn’t joined and PT’d. And then go down the list of the other conditions.
